THOMAS SANGSTER TRIVIA
Thomas works in a local garage during his spare time.
He likes listening to Eminem and Queen.
He has a dog (i don't know it's name) and 2 cats (Teddy and Boswell)
He beat Skandar Keynes for the roll of Simon in Nanny McPhee, but lost both the roles of Ron Weasley and Neville Longbottom for the Harry Potter films.
Hugh Grant is his second cousin once removed on his mother's side.
He likes Bagels, eggs and Worcestershire sauce (a savory sauce of vinegar and soy sauce and spices).
Thomas has starred in 3 movies featuring Colin Firth: Love Actually, Nanny McPhee, & The Last Legion
Thomas's father taught him how to play the drums for his role as Sam in Love Actually.
Thomas kept a model of Emma Thompson's nose from Nanny McPhee, except it disintegrated because "you have to keep it in the fridge and I couldn’t be bothered so it just fell apart."
He owns two houses in London ("I bought us a little house in Vauxhall and another one in Camberwell") as well as a film production company, Brodie Films.
He smokes, but he doesn't do drugs and he doesn't drink
Thomas has mild dyslexia and used to struggle with reading, so his mum would read him the scripts.
He decided he wanted to act at the age of 10 as he watched his parents perform a play about Edgar Allen Poe, in Prague, and thought "it looked really fun so I'd give it a go".
Would love to work with Jean Reno, Jim Carrey, Robert De Niro, and Christopher Walken.
One of his favourite people that he's worked with was Emma Thompson's mother
Phyllida Law.
He likes Painting, Tennis, Drawing & Design, Skating.
He loved his costumes for Nanny McPhee; "I like wearing stuff I wouldn't normally wear. I love putting on outrageous, stupid costumes and silly hats and stuff and I really enjoyed it and didn't want to take it off except when you get cake all over it and have to put it on the next morning and it's covered with nasty, smelly stuff."
Thomas couldn't see Love Actually at the London premiere because it was rated 15+ and Thomas was only 13 at the time. Instead he went to Planet Hollywood while everyone was watching the film. He did, however, get to see the New York premiere of it.
He doesn't do well in dramas at school because "drama is more stagey rather than acting in front of a camera".
Thomas was a judge at the First Light Movie Awards in 2006 along with Nicholas Hoult and James & Oliver Phelps.
Thomas would love to be a pilot and for his 16th birthday his mum gave him a course at a flight training school.
Thomas had originally sent in an audition tape for a mini-series of Stephen King's The Talisman which was to be directed by Steven Spielberg. The Talisman never was made, but Spielberg had found his Tintin.
He played Bass in his mother's band, Winnet.
He has a girlfriend, Patience Harding.
